Oddero Poderi e Cantine

Cantina Vinicola · La Morra (CN), Piemonte · 2025

The project for Oddero Poderi e Cantine, in the heart of La Morra, grew out of the wish to enhance the family's historical memory and identity through a design able to bring together storytelling, architecture and atmosphere. The work involved the restyling and renovation of the museum area, a space dedicated to displaying antique farming tools and the implements that bear witness to the tradition and labour of the world of wine. The rooms were rethought to guide visitors through an immersive experience, in which every object takes on new prominence within a pared-back, contemporary display. At the same time, a new visitor route was defined inside the historic cellar, including an extension among the barrels, with the aim of making the spaces more fluid, legible and engaging without altering their authentic character. Light plays a key role: the lighting was designed to emphasise the working tools, enhance the material textures and highlight the building's original structural elements. Carefully calibrated accents accompany the route and help create an evocative, intimate atmosphere that tells the winery's story through details, volumes and materials. The result is a project in which tradition and contemporary design are held in balance, offering visitors an authentic experience deeply rooted in the culture of the land.
