Rocche Costamagna
Cantina Vinicola · La Morra (CN), Piemonte · 2024
For the Rocche Costamagna winery in La Morra, the restyling of the tasting room set out to enhance the historic character of the spaces, turning the tasting experience into an immersive story bound to the memory of the family and of the land. The work concentrated on redefining the atmosphere of the rooms through a careful lighting study, designed to bring out the building's historic vaults and give the spaces depth, rhythm and warmth. Light accompanies visitors discreetly, highlighting the materiality of the surfaces and the cellar's original architectural details. Around the large communal table, an intimate and narrative museum route was developed, enriched by a family library, paintings and historic pieces that speak of the winery's deep roots and its bond with the Langhe. Particular prominence is given to the works and artistic references linked to the owner's mother, a central figure in the family history and in the cultural identity of the winery. Art, memory and wine intertwine in an authentic and refined space, where every element helps build a welcoming, evocative and deeply personal experience. The result is an elegant, contemporary setting that preserves the historic soul of the winery while offering a new way of experiencing and telling the story of its wine.
